English has a relatively simple grammar and syntax, but a vast array of expressions and idioms that can be challenging for non-English speakers to grasp. Many still think in their native language before translating, which can lead to literal translations and unintended drama (consider the controversy surrounding the singular "they," which lacks a direct translation in many languages). As English is not my first language, please bear with me. Premise #1: If you find any of my sentences coming across as rude or too peremptory, it's likely due to language barriers. I recently discussed this issue with someone while they were preparing their excellent Guide for Crediting in MMD, and we occasionally touched on the subject. Now, it's time to take a short break from my modeling activities to address this sensitive topic.
